The baby massage is given by an experienced (natural) maternity nurse, our LieVe Jamie Fleuren. Because Jamie is also a maternity nurse, you can ask all your questions about your baby in addition to the baby massage. Feel free to ask them during the course or consultation. There is also room to go deeper into topics such as crying, cramps/obstipation or irritation processing.

The baby massage course and the one-time consultation are given at home, in the familiar environment of your baby. Jamie will provide the appropriate oil. It is nice if you provide a warm room, changing pad, two hydrophilic towels and a bowl to warm the oil in. Even after the course or consultation, Jamie will be available for any questions.

We offer two options regarding LieV Babymassage

LieV butterfly-1

LieV Babymassage
- A one-time consultation focused on complaint relief from cramps and/or constipation

- After the one-time tummy consultation you will be able to perform all techniques regarding the tummy and relieving cramps/obstipation on your child yourself. You will then receive advice on how to relieve cramps and/or constipation. This consultation takes 1.5 hours.

- The course is given at home. In your child's own familiar environment.

- Jamie will provide the appropriate oil. Provide a warm room, changing pad, two hydrophilic towels and a bowl to warm the oil in.

- After the consultation Jamie can be reached for questions.

- Consultations with another baby are possible (max. 3 babies). The costs are € 50 per baby.

LieV Baby Massage
- Full course of 4 lessons

- The full course will consist of 4 lessons of 1,5 hours.After following the full course you will be able to perform all massage techniques on your baby yourself.

- It is also possible to follow this full course with a maximum of 3 other babies. The costs will then be € 200,- per baby.

LieV Carrying Consultation

Carrying your child with you is not only practical and cozy, it also provides comfort in case of crying, cramps or reflux symptoms. Your child has been carried by its mother for 9 months, so this gives a very familiar and nice feeling. Therefore, this can help your child relax, de-stimulate and de-stress. Carrying your child close to you also ensures good bonding and for example to get to know his daddy better, because he is after all 9 months behind.

What can you expect from a LieV Wearing consultation?

- At a LieV Wearing Consultation, our babywearing consultant Jamie Fleuren will come to your home.

- Since Jamie is also a maternity nurse, you can feel free to ask her any other questions you may have about your baby.

- If you already have a babywearing product, she will teach you the proper tying and carrying technique of it.

- There is also the possibility to try out some of the babywearing products and borrow them by mutual agreement. Jamie will bring with her during the consultation:
-Woven sling
-Elastic sling
-Mei tai sling
-Ringsling
-Draagzak
In addition to the slings and bags, Jamie will bring a babywearing doll for you to practice with.

- After the babywearing consultation, you can contact Jamie up to 6 weeks after the consultation regarding any questions you may have.

Hi, I'm Jamie Fleuren

I have been working in maternity care since 2016 and this is still the most enjoyable profession as far as I am concerned! Every time again I enjoy watching new parents welcome and get to know their baby. And how special it is that we, as maternity nurses, are able to guide and support parents in this process.

In 2021 I was able to specialize in natural maternity care.

This has changed my view on the care of a newborn baby and a maternity woman. It has broadened my knowledge of the start of a baby and the guidance of the parents even more.

Besides natural maternity care I can also call myself Shantala Babymassage teacher and carrier consultant. A super nice addition to this profession. Very interesting what benefits massaging and carrying a baby can bring.
