We accurately apply the ARBO-law, which means that your bed should have a working height of +/- 70cm, measured at the top of the mattress. If your bed is lower, you can opt for bed risers, also called bobbins. With a home birth, you will also need a bedpan and optionally a back support for in bed. You can arrange for these aids at a home health care store.

From 36 weeks of pregnancy, we recommend placing a sheet or absorbent mat in your bed under the fitted sheet in case the water breaks. Your maternity package includes a sheet or absorbent mat.
